About Megavision
Megavision is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that caters to household consumers in Bandung and Bogor, West Java. With an extensive network across both cities, Megavision currently employs over 500 staff members and continues to expand to meet the growing connectivity needs of the community.
Challenges in HR management
We had the opportunity to speak with Randy Budiana, the HR Manager at Megavision. One of the most improved processes with Mekari Talenta is attendance management. With the now-integrated system, employees no longer need to come to the office to clock in. They can submit their attendance from anywhere, which is particularly beneficial for field employees.
In addition to attendance, leave and permission requests can now be submitted online via smartphone. This not only makes things easier for employees but also reduces the workload for the HR team. Previously, medical leave and permission letters had to be collected manually from various branches, consuming time and effort. Now, employees can simply upload their documents via smartphone, and the HR team can access them directly through the system.
Payroll processing 4x faster
Manually managed attendance previously created a domino effect on other processes, particularly payroll. Before using Mekari Talenta, payroll processing took a long time. Attendance data had to be manually compiled and calculated before being converted into salary distributions. The entire process could take up to 4–5 days.
“For example, we used to spend five days to complete payroll. But now, with the payroll feature in Mekari Talenta, everything can be done in just one day. This is incredibly helpful, especially when payday is approaching.”
