About Sekolah Mutiara Bunda
Sekolah Mutiara Bunda is a well-known school among parents in the Arcamanik area of Bandung. Under the umbrella of the Cahaya Mutiara Foundation, this school offers various educational levels, from Play School (kindergarten) to elementary, junior high, and high school. Established in 1995, Mutiara Bunda initially focused on early childhood education before expanding to higher levels. We had the opportunity to speak with Tifani Anita Dewi, Human Capital representative from the Cahaya Mutiara Foundation, about the HR challenges faced by Mutiara Bunda School. Tifani revealed that the 2021–2022 pandemic brought significant changes, including the need for an online attendance system, as some employees had to work from home (WFH).
At that time, Mutiara Bunda experimented with several methods, such as Google Forms and RFID. Additionally, the manual data consolidation process was inefficient. Attendance data had to be manually compiled before further processing to calculate employee benefits. This process was time-consuming, sometimes taking several days to complete, creating bottlenecks in administrative tasks.
